Recently read this in my favourite book, “The Prophet” by Khalil Gibran. One phrase caught my eye:

…and think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course…

Well, no matter how much pain we have gone through, no matter how many disappointments and broken promises there were, just remember the best love is still the one we give ourselves.

I just feel compelled to encourage those lonely souls out there, love yourself first. Never turn your back on love. Like Khalil Gibran wrote, “… for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.”

Be patient as you continue to do the best you can with whatever you have, wherever you may be. Love does find its way to you.

Remember: God’s delay is not God’s denial.
