Once upon a time, there were 3 men who got stucked on a deserted island. They found an ancient oil lamp and rubbed it, whoom! A genie appeared and granted each man a wish.

The first man wanted to be with a company of women on a yatch and his wish was granted. He was having great fun….

The second man wanted to be home with his wife and kids. Again, it was granted. He was enjoying domestic bliss.

When it was the last man’s turn to make his wish, he wasn’t sure. He wanted to discuss with his two mates. And…. whoomp! The other two men were back on the island with him.

How sad for the other two mates!

Moral of the story: One’s lack of ambition will affect others, it is not his “own” problems only.

Need more clarification?

• Look at a “useless” son who refused to get educated and get a job – how would the parents feel?
• Look at the husband that doesn’t bother to work hard and provide for the family, how is the family affected?
• Look at the leader that have no vision, how is the country/ company/ organization affected?

One man’s lack of vision, ambition and zeal is definitely not his “own” problem. It will affect the people around him!
